The Gideon Ministry will begin meeting bimonthly starting Jan. 8 in the Children’s Church room at 8:30 a.m. The subsequent meetings will be on the first Sunday of every odd month. The meetings will be for confession as well as a review of prior topics which pointed to God’s warnings (discipline) and true repentance. The dates are: Jan. 8, March 4, May 6, July 1 and Sept. 2.

Along with the New Year there will be two new adult Sunday school classes starting on Jan. 8 .
The Voice of Proverbs: Calling Parents and Children to Biblical Wisdom class is geared toward instruction on raising, guiding and loving our children Scripturally. This class will be led by Wayne Turner, Mike Ahrendt and Jason Wiltse.

A shower for Grace will be held on Saturday, Jan. 7, at the home of Diane Walls, 4258 Stable Path Drive, Maumee. It will be an open house between the hours of 10 a.m. and noon. You may stop in and drop off a gift anytime, or stay a while and hear the devotional at 10:30. Coffee and muffins will be served. Grace and Ryan are registered at Bed, Bath, and Beyond, Target and also Amazon.com. Please join us in blessing this couple as they anticipate becoming husband and wife.

A new study on Monday nights will start Jan. 9 at the home of Judy Cleveland. The topic of the study will be the book of I Peter. A second new study will start on Wednesday morning Jan. 11 at the home of Diane Walls. The topic of this study will be the book of Nehemiah.
