Recently the Thornton family announced they will be returning from the Ukrainian mission field. For those of you who do not know the Thornton family, they were one of the founding families of CTW. In fact, Jamie was one of CTW’s founding ruling elders. They have been serving in the mission field for the past 3+ years. In an effort to achieve greater participation during this year’s Maundy Thursday Celebration, we are encouraging people to get their creative juices flowing and design a centerpiece that will be used at one of the tables during the Maundy Thursday Celebration. We hope families and individuals will be excited to participate in this way and offer a “Centerpiece of Praise”. This is a way to prepare and include children in this great celebration. The event will be held at Nazareth Hall and a dinner will be provided. Through fellowshipping and bringing our thanksgiving before Him, we will celebrate the resurrection of Jesus and the joy and hope that He has given to His beloved, the Church. As part of our Maundy Thursday Celebration, everyone is encouraged to offer praises and thanksgivings to God. Psalm 136:3 says "Give thanks to the Lord of lords, for His steadfast love endures forever."
