Christ the Word is governed by a board of elders, or session, and is served by a board of deacons. Christ the Word is a member of the Great Lakes Presbytery.

Director of Women's Ministries
Diane Walls -- Diane and her husband of 38 years, Fred, are the parents of Renee and Tim, and grandparents of eight. (Renee and her husband, Paul,
attend Christ the Word with their five children.) Diane has worked with women of the Toledo area for eighteen years as a leader in Bible Study Fellowship.
We are grateful to God for Diane's past ministry in the lives of many in CTW today and we anticipate His continued blessing on her ministry in our midst.
MTW Candidate
Jamie Thornton -- Jamie is transitioning from several years as a pastoral intern at CTW to his future as a missionary in the Ukraine with Mission to
the World, the mission arm of the Presbyterian Church of America. Jamie and his wife, Julia, are the parents of Nadia, Timothy and Anna.
Youth Director
Scott Killy -- Scott began full-time ministry to the youth of CTW in in December 2003 after several years of dedicated service to our youth at the side of former associate pastor Gary Knapp. Scott and his wife Lynnette adopted Anthony and Phoebe in 2006. Scott received his undergraduate degree at Bowling Green State U. and is attending
the Pastor's College.
Associate Pastor
Andrew Dionne -- Andrew came to CTW in May, 2004. Andrew was a musician before he was a pastor.
After receiving his doctorate in musical composition from Indiana
Univeristy Andrew headed
to St. Louis where he received his M.Div. from Covenant Seminary.
Andrew and his wife Sarah are the parents of Anna and Ezekiel and Thomas.
Senior Pastor
David Bayly -- David came to Toledo from Chicago in 1988. He is married to Cheryl. Together
they have five children ranging in age from 17 to 8. David graduated
from Macalester College
in St. Paul, Minnesota and, though loath to admit it, Gordon-Conwell
Theological Seminary in South Hamilton, Massachusetts.
