LWY Trip to Cedar Point is Extended to All Youth
On Monday, July 13 the youth group will be taking a trip to Cedar Point. All members (Jr. and Sr. High) are now invited. The price is $22.50, plus an additional $4 or $5 for gas and parking (we also recommend bringing some spending money). Please let Nathan Miklovic know if you are able to attend. Also, money for tickets is due to Elizabeth Bayly by Wednesday, July 8. The time and place where we will meet on the morning of the 13th is yet to be determined.
Graduation Celebration @ the Brown Home
This Wednesday, the LWY and alumni will be gathering at the Brown home for a time of celebration, food, fun, and dodgeball. The evening will begin at 5:30 p.m. and dinner will be included. If you have any kickballs or dodgeballs, please bring them! We will end the evening with a focus on our 2009 LWY Graduates. We look forward to seeing you there!
LWY Graduation Celebration: June 24
The Living Word Youth will have their Graduation Celebration next Wednesday at the Brown Home (16488 W. River Rd Bowling Green). All former LWY graduates and alumni are welcome to join in the festivities which will start at 5:30 p.m. Dinner will be provided and if you have any dodgeballs, please bring them for our annual dodgeball game.
LWY/College Contra Dance This Thursday
All Sr. High and College students are invited to the Grand Ball Contra Dance on Thursday, June 18 from 6-9:00 p.m. It will be held at the Otsego Stone Hall (20000 W. River Road, Bowling Green, Ohio 43402). Again, the Root Cellar String Band will play for us and snacks and pizza will be provided. Attire is semi-formal (men are to wear khakis/slacks, button down and tie; women are to wear dresses). Cost is $12.00 per person and no previous dance experience needed. Please see the Clarks or the Turners if you will be coming.
