Michael Villines Injured in Skiing Accident
Michael Villines was injured Saturday, February 3 during a skiing accident in Idaho. It is believed Michael was going about 50 mph as he hit the jump and was probably about 15 ft above ground before he landed on his back and continued to roll down the hill. His father was there to witness the accident and get help quickly. Michael was flown to the hospital where it was determined he has a concussion and praise God no broken bones. However, a tumor near his liver was discovered during a cat scan. The doctor took a biopsy of the tumor today (Monday) and believes the tumor is not likely malignant. They are waiting for results. Please be praying that the tumor is indeed benign.
According to an update received via Tricia. Michael is very sore, unable to walk well or eat much, and as of yet is unable to carry on much of a conversation, but she says he is recovering nicely and is believed to be able to go home in the next day or so. Praise the Lord!
