Living Word Youth

LWY meets each Wednesday to study God's Word, to pray and to encourage one another in the faith. Living Word Youth is for youth grades 7-12. Group members serve, work on projects and enjoy fun outings throughout the year.

Living Word Youth meet at Mario and Lisa Dominguez' house each Wednesday night at 6:15 p.m. unless a special event is planned elsewhere.

What's Happening at Living Word Youth

Looking back...

I wrote this when I was a freshman in high school:

Paragraph on Serving
English

Serving is eagerly being of benefit to others with transparent motives. Serving is very important to be a witness to others. Jesus didn’t come to earth to be served, but to serve (Mark 10:45). During Jesus’ time, when a family would have guests come to their house, they would order a servant to kneel by the door with a bowl of water and a towel to wash the guest’s dirty feet before entering the house. This was the worst and least favorite chore a servant could be told to do. When Jesus came to earth, he did just that. He willingly washed other’s filthy feet. If Jesus served like that, can’t we do our best to serve those around us?
