LWY to visit Nursing Homes this Wednesday

This Wednesday, the LWY will be meeting at the nursing homes. The nursing homes are Heartland of Waterville located at 8885 Browning Dr in Waterville, Harborside of Sylvania at 5767 Whiteford Rd in Sylvania, and Sunset Village at 9640 Sylvania-Metamora Rd in Sylvania. Everyone should plan on arriving by 7 p.m. and being picked-up by 8:15 pm. If you are unsure which location your youth are assigned to, please contact Hunter Turner at 419-329-1100.

Cedar Point for Sr. High on August 23rd

The Sr. High, Grades 9-12, will be going to Cedar Point on Thursday, August 23rd. All Sr. High youth will meet at 8:30am at Scott Killy's home: 25 Curwood Rd., Holland, OH 43528. We plan to arrive back at the Killy's home around 9:00pm. The cost is $33 dollars a person and is due on August 15th. These costs are to cover the ticket pass and transportation costs. For those that do have summer passes, please contact Hunter Turner to find out the different cost. Each person will either need to bring a sacked lunch and or money for lunch and dinner.

Saturday, July 28: Jr. High Tubing
All LWY Jr. High members are invited to participate in a day of water tubing and other fun activities in Hillsdale, MI Saturday, July 28. This event includes all 7-9 grade students. The cost is $10 per person and must be turned in to Scott Killy by July 22. This covers travel, tubing costs, and dinner. We ask that each attendee brings a packed lunch. If boys would like they are invited to camp out Friday night at the Schriner home and should arrive by 7 pm. All others are expected to meet at the Schriner home by 9 am. We will return to the Schriner home by 8:30 pm. The Schriner home is located at 5727 Sterns Rd. in Ottawa Lake, MI.

LWY Contra Dance the 17 of July!

Dear Sr. High and College Students,

This is just a reminder about the Contra Dance coming up this Tuesday, and it also gives a couple more details about the evening.
It was previously mentioned that the attire expected is semi-formal, but upon further reflection this may have been the wrong term to use. Expected attire is to fall somewhere between semi-formal and casual. Please no jeans or T-shirts. Guys should where nice slacks or khakis along with a button down shirt. Gals are encouraged to where dresses or skirts. The doors open at 6 pm with music beginning at 6:30 pm. The dance ends at 8:30 pm with the doors closing at 9 pm. There will be a nice assortment of desserts and refreshments available throughout the evening, and a live band. Cost for the evening is $5 and should be submitted to Scott Killy or Hunter Turner no later than July 16. The WW Knight Center is located at 29530 White Rd in Perrysburg.
