Sunday School
Christ the Word offers Sunday School classes for all ages. These classes will get you into God's Word and help you grow in your knowledge, faith and love of God. "They are not just idle words for you - they are your life." (Deut. 32:47) Sunday School hour is from 9 AM to 10 AM and is a great way to focus your thoughts towards God before coming together to worship Him.
Overview of Our Adult Sunday School Classes
The Life of Christ Chronological:
Teacher: Dr. Thom Evans & Jason Wiltse
What a fascinating opportunity to study more closely the life of Jesus Christ. Dr. Evans brings many years of teaching experience before us and hopes to bring about a better understanding of the life of Jesus to all attendees. This class is part 1 or a 2 part course.
2nd Corinthians
Teacher: Steve Altman & Scott Killy
The class is encouraged to have open discussion as we examine II Corinthians together.
The Compass
Teacher: Wayne Turner, Jeff Schriner, David Bayly, Matt Miklovic

- What is Christ the Word really about; why no just any church?
- How do I meet others at Christ the Word?
- Which class should I attend on Sunday morning?
- Which "Pathway" should I attend and what is a "Pathway" anyway?
If these are questions you might have then "The Compass" is right for you.
"The Compass" does not meet regularly, but periodically throughout the year. The next class begins meeting Oct. 7 and will continue to meet for 5 weeks in the Kitchen during the Sunday school hour.
"The Compass" is informal, conversational, and a way to meet both recent and long-term CTW worshippers. Conversation and refreshment will be the main emphasis with a new topic each week. The culmination of the class will be a lunch following the morning service on November 11.
