Women of the Word
We desire that each woman who regularly attends Christ the Word Church be growing toward mature Christian faith. Women of the Word is a ministry committed to encouraging spiritual growth, serving others and developing relationships. We offer Bible studies, teaching and fellowship events and outreach opportunities.
Please see the schedules below for our bible studies and upcoming events.
Summer Bible Studies
Join us this summer by coming to one of the two Bible study options. The daytime study will meet at the church house on Wednesdays from 9:00 – 11:15 am. We will all meet together for a teaching time, then break into small groups for discussion and prayer. This is a great opportunity for you to invite a neighbor, friend or family member. Each lesson is a stand alone, so don’t worry if you can’t make every one of them. We know that vacations and summertime fun sometimes make that difficult.

Women of the Word Leadership
Wendy Foulke is married to Dave and they have three sons and one daughter. Wendy grew up in a Christian home and came alive in her faith in her mid-twenties when God gave her a real hunger for His Word. Since that time, she has been involved with both youth and women's ministries as well as participating and leading in bible studies.
With a background in speech-language pathology, she practiced in rehabilitation hospitals until the Lord led her to stay home with their growing family. She has been homeschooling for eleven years, although her oldest two sons are now in public school and university.
The Foulke family has attended Christ the Word since they moved back to this area in 2007. Her husband, Dave, has served on the Deacon board as well as worship team and her children have been active in Living Word Youth, AWANA and the worship team.
Wendy blogs at reflect-i.com.
You can contact her at or via the CTW office at 419.829.2005.
