Heaven and Earth Sundays--January 7 & 14

On the first two worship mornings of 2007 CTW will celebrate "Heaven and Earth Sundays." On January 7th we will focus on the glory of heaven. The following Sunday we will turn our attention from heaven to our walk here on earth. Please pray that these services would be an encouragement to our walk with Jesus Christ, our ministry here on earth, and our desire for the comfort of eternal life in God's presence.

Venue for Summerfest 2007 Needed

Christ the Word is in need of a venue for our 2007 Summerfest outreach event. The Vine campground that we have used for the past years has closed; the owners are trying to sell the land and facilities. If you know of any comparable campgrounds/parks/large tracts of land (preferably with swimming) please let Andrew Dionne know. We hope to schedule the event for the last Sunday in July (29th). Thanks for your suggestions.

Funeral arrangements for Scott Killy's grandma

The church family prays for God's comfort for Scott and Lynnette Killy and family in the passing of Scott's paternal grandmother June Killy-Peyton- Managhan. The funeral arrangements are as follows: visitation will be at the Peinert Funeral Home, Whitehouse Ohio on Thursday December 21st from 2-9 pm. The funeral services will be Friday at 10:30 am in the funeral home.

We Mourn with Our Sister Kathy Bolger with the Passing of Her Father

We are grieved at the news of the passing of Kathy Bolger's father, Thomas "TJ" Bolger, and mourn with her and her family. CTW women highlight Tuesday February 27th on your 2007 calendar as the next opportunity for learning and fellowship with all your sisters at church. More information will be in the January Gazette.

Pauline Ferguson Funeral Details

We are grieved at the news of Susan Ignatowicz's mother's death. Visitation will take place on Thursday from 4-8 p.m. at Pawlak Funeral Home in Temperance, MI. Directions to the funeral home can be found here. The funeral will take place at Pawlak at 10 a.m. on Friday. A luncheon at the SDA fellowship hall will follow the funeral at 12.
