June 3 Bulletin Announcements

June Sunday Evening Services Switching
During the month of June we will be switching our evening services to the 2nd and 4th Sundays of the month. Rev. Yongjin Kim from Hanmi Covenant Presbyterian Church in Toledo will be preaching during the evening service on June 10.

Name Tags For June
Last year it was “Name Tags for Mud”...to help David’s mother Mary Lou (affectionately called Mud by her sons) get to know the names of everybody in the congregation. This year it is “Name Tags for June”...a double entendre for the month of June and our very own June Edmunds. As you enter the Narthex next Sunday please fill out a name tag and wear it for the entirety of the morning. We will repeat the same procedure for the following Sundays in June. Thanks!

Kits For Camichines
This is the last day that we will be collecting for the hygiene kits. Thanks again to so many of you who remembered the people of Carmachines with your gifts. We will be packing them into individual kits this coming Friday afternoon. Thanks from your mission team.

LWY to visit Nursing Homes this Wednesday, June 6
LWY will be visiting area nursing homes this coming Wednesday, June 6. The nursing homes are Heartland of Waterville located at 8885 Browning Dr in Waterville, Harborside of Sylvania at 5767 Whiteford Rd in Sylvania, and Sunset Village at 9640 Sylvania-Metamora Rd in Sylvania. Everyone should plan on arriving by 7 p.m. and being picked-up by 8:15 p.m. If you unsure which location your youth are assigned to please contact Hunter Turner at 419-329-1100.

June 21-24: CTW Family Camping Trip
Mark your calendars now for the Christ the Word Family Camping Trip at East Harbor State Park. The church has reserved 48 sites in the group camping area from Thursday, June 21 through Sunday, June 24. Please see the larger announcement in the bulletin.

Attention Ladies of CTW!
Please join us for a wedding shower in honor of Emily Hardin and her upcoming marriage to Jason Wiltse. The brunch will be held on Saturday, June 16th from 10-12 am at Christian Fellowship of Toledo South. Please RSVP to Bianca Altman, 419-868-4816, by Sunday, June 4. Gift ideas for the bride and groom can be found on their registry at Bed, Bath and Beyond or Target. Gift cards toward furniture purchases from Ikea would also be greatly appreciated. Maps and directions will be posted on the CTW homepage. We will look forward to celebrating with you.

Vitamins For Mexico
Help! We are currently 15,000 vitamins below our need for the 2007 Mission Trip to Camichines. Our goal of 30,000 vitamins must be met to ensure that each man, woman and child in the village gets a one month supply of a good quality multivitamin with minerals. Please consider sponsoring a 1,000 tablet bottle of prescription quality vitamins. These vitamins can be purchased through Michelle Holder for $20. Please see Michelle or Kevin (419-531-5318 or holderpharm@sbcglobal.net) or drop your cash or check for any amount in the “Meds for Mexico” can on the health kit collection table. Thanks!

Lemonade and Lightning Bugs
Our June time of fellowship will take place a little over 10 days from today at Cindy Skaff’s lovely backyard. We will be meeting at 8:00 pm on June 14th to spend some time together as women of CTW. Please remember to bring a lawn chair and leave the children with dad.

Summer WOW Bible Studies
Two of our summer Bible studies are under way and two more start this month. Michelle Holder’s study will start this next week on Wednesday morning at 9:30 a.m. Please see Michelle if you are interested in coming. The last study of the summer will start the end of June on Friday the 29th at Lynnette Killy’s home.
