Ministering to the Morgans

Abbie is off to Ann Arbor

We rejoice with the Morgans that Abbie is fit to begin the bone marrow transplant process. This next chapter in her therapy will begin next week. The plan is that Darren and Ellie will join Julie and Abbie in Ann Arbor Thursday-Sunday each week. Therefore, if you signed up to take a meal for a Thursday evening please take it instead on Wednesday (if this is a problem, please let Michelle know). The rotation of caretakers for Ellie (Mrs. Frost, Aunt Shirley and Mr. & Mrs. Morgan) will continue as is Sunday thru Wednesday. We will continue to update you with ways to help.

Moby Morgan needs a home!

During the next phase of Abigail's therapy the faithful family hound needs a place to call home or a "nanny" willing to live in at the Morgans. If you are interested please give Julie a call at (419)843-3167 or Michelle at (419)531-5318.

FYI- with great thanks to all, the Morgan's are requesting that no more toys be sent their way. They are bursting at the seams!

Preliminary Results of Abigail's Biopsy

Just got off the phone with Julie Morgan who had just received the preliminary results of Abigail's bone marrow biopsy (done on Tuesday). She said that there were no leukemic cells; it looks like she's in remission! These results are preliminary, but things are looking really good right now. Abigail and Julie will now be headed up to Ann Arbor Monday or Tuesday of next week to begin the bone marrow transplant process. Continue to pray for precious Abigail!

ALERT: Sunrise Service Location & Time Change

Due to the expected low temperatures this coming Easter morning a decision has been made to move the Sunrise service from a lakeside location to the courtyard of the SDA church (outside the Narthex) where we regularly meet for Sunday worship. The time has also been changed from 7:30 am to 8:00 am. Immediately following the Sunrise service you are invited to enjoy a hot, delicious Easter breakfast in the fellowship hall. We hope to see you there as we celebrate the resurrection of our Risen Savior!
