Congregational Meeting
Following our evening service on March 16, we will have a short congregational meeting to hold an election for the office of elder. Matthew French is currently the only candidate. Other officer candidates will be put to a congregational vote later this year.
W.O.W. Event—Before the Throne: Cultivating a Vibrant Prayer Life
Women, this coming Saturday is your opportunity to learn alongside your friends from CTW as we talk about the topic of prayer. The morning with begin at 9 am at Barb Oostra’s home with coffee. Michelle Vrlenich and Diane Walls will be our teachers. The morning will conclude with a light lunch around noon. If you can carpool that would help with parking. Any questions see a WOW Committee member.
After-School Bible Club Prayer and Collection
Please remember to pray for our after-school Bible clubs each Thursday morning. The Lord has blessed these groups, and we look forward to more blessing. Also, please support the clubs by bringing juice boxes. Please place them in the box in the Narthex.

Learn The Art Of Sewing
Women of CTW: if you have an interest for yourself and/or your teenage daughter to learn the basics of machine sewing, please contact Doris German at 419-474-6163. Doris will coordinate some opportunities for women to learn the art of sewing.
Homeschool Group Announcements
• On Friday, February 22, 2008 we will head to Imperial Lanes from 10 to 12. Cost is $5 per bowler (two games and shoes). Two slices of pizza and a small pop for $4 is available. Please R.S.V.P. by Monday February 18 to Michelle Holder at (419)531-5318 or holderpharm@sbcglobal.net with number of bowlers and lunches.
• A Homeschool Meeting for homeschool mothers and anyone interested in homeschooling is scheduled for February 26 at 7:00 p.m. at the Turner home. This meeting will host a panel of homeschool graduates to field questions about homeschooling and their college and career choices. Bring your favorite reading curriculum and favorite “read-aloud” book to share. For more information, contact Julie Van Wormer at bvwormer@bex.net or 419-537-7008.
• A Homeschool field trip is planned to the Smithsonian traveling exhibits: “Key Ingredients: America by Food” and “Michigan Foodways” at the Old Mill Museum in Dundee, MI on Tuesday, March 4th from 12-2. It is FREE. Contact Angela Hite (billangela@yahoo.com or 419-472-9340) to sign up by Feb. 17th.
Sr. High/College Contra Dance Saturday March 15
The Sr. High and college group are invited to a contra dance and pizza dinner. The dance will be from 2-5 pm with pizza following. The doors will close at 7 pm sharp. The cost for the dance only is $8 and $10 for both the dance and pizza dinner. Please sign up using the new Sign Up Forms on the CTW website or contact Scott Killy.
