July 6: Benevolence Collection
Each month during the first worship service of the month, the Deacon Board collects a benevolence offering. This collection is used primarily to help those in the congregation with pressing needs. You can begin SIGNING-UP NOW on the CTW Website Events page by clicking the “Sign Up For Events” link near the top of the page. You will likely have to add your name and create a password, but this will enable you to sign-up for future events using this same information.

4th of July Evangelism
Our annual 4th of July water distribution is actually on July 3rd this year because we will be witnessing in Perrysburg at Fort Meigs. This location provides easier access to people than downtown Toledo and is a great place to view the Perrysburg/Maumee fireworks display. Our job each year is to hand out free bottled water and a tract with an introduction to the gospel message and information about our church. Plan to arrive no later than 8:00 p.m. with a wagon and a cooler (extra coolers and wagons are also appreciated). See Matthew French or Tim Barton for more information.

July 12: Bayly Open House
The Bayly family would like to invite any family or individuals that began attending Christ the Word during the last 12 months into their home for a time of fellowship. If weather permits feel free to bring your bathing suits for swimming. Light snacks and refreshments will be provided. The time is from 1 p.m. till 5 p.m. on Saturday, July 12.
