Announcements from November 9 Bulletin
November 23: Thank Offering Sunday
The deacons will be collecting our annual Thank Offering on November 23rd. As in the past, we are encouraging the children of Christ the Word to come up to the front of the sanctuary to express their thankfulness to God by bringing an offering. Also, this collection will be the last benevolence collection taken in 2008. We have combined the November and December benevolence in order to help those who will be in need during the holiday season. We are praying that God will bless this offering to teach our children about the importance of giving, and enable our church to do good works of charity. The deacons thank you for your cheerful giving in the past and for your generosity in this next collection.

Interviews For Participation In The Lord’s Supper

Beginning November 9th, CTW will have a variety of refreshments in the Fellowship Hall as a way to provide first and second service attendees a way to converse with another. Please make your way to the Fellowship Hall between services to enjoy your choice of coffee, tea, bagels and seasonal treats along with the conversation of a friend. We ask that you do not take food out of the Fellowship Hall and that you are careful to supervise your children during this time. In addition to this, please be respectful of other ministries if your time in the refreshment area happens to overlap Sunday school or children’s church.
